It has 15 programmable buttons, including a full 12-button side panel that you can adjust forward or backward to better suit your hand size and grip type. Using the customization software, you can adjust sensor settings, reprogram all buttons, and create custom macros and control profiles tailored to specific games.
This mouse has a very accurate, responsive sensor and excellent click latency, delivering a snappy gaming experience. It even has a higher-than-average maximum polling rate of 2000Hz. While it has excellent click latency and sensor performance overall, its implementation of the 2000Hz polling rate isn't as consistent as other mice we've tested at 2000Hz. Check out the Corsair SCIMITAR RGB ELITE if you want a cheaper, wired alternative. It shares virtually the same shape and design but doesn't perform quite as well; it only has a maximum polling rate of 1000Hz, but it's worth looking at if you don't mind the wired connection.

It has a right-handed shape with a sloping thumb rest, making it a comfortable option, even for long multi-hour gaming sessions. Its build quality is excellent, and it feels very sturdy in hand. There are ten buttons, five of which are side buttons. You can customize all the buttons on this mouse and adjust other settings using Corsair's companion software. The click latency and sensor performance are also outstanding and sufficient for almost any type of game. It connects wirelessly with an included USB receiver or via Bluetooth.
The biggest downside? It's a noticeably heavier model than other mice on this list, so we don't recommend it if you only play fast-paced competitive titles where quick, accurate movements are essential. It's also quite large, so if you have small hands, it will likely feel too wide, and you'll have difficulty reaching all the side buttons. If you're interested in a lighter alternative, the Corsair NIGHTSABRE WIRELESS has an interesting symmetrical shape that narrows towards the middle, making it much better suited for medium-sized hands. It offers the same number of total programmable inputs, slightly better gaming performance, and more extensive RGB lighting. However, it's much more expensive.
