The Dyson Pure Cool TP01 is a combined air purifier and fan. It's more stripped-down than the similarly sized Dyson Purifier Cool TP07, with no Wi-Fi connectivity, particle detection system, or corresponding automatic fan speed adjustment function. Its fan also has a more limited range of movement, as it can only oscillate up to 70 degrees, compared to the 350-degree range of movement for the TP07.
The Dyson Pure Cool Air Purifier is likely inadequate for most pet owners. It isn't especially efficient in terms of cleaning larger rooms, and it struggles to lock in the finest airborne particles, like cat dander. On the upside, it won't startle many pets while running due to its quiet operation.
The Dyson Pure Cool Air Purifier is decent for use in bedrooms. It runs pretty quietly, especially at lower fan settings, which is good if you're running it overnight. Its display can also be turned completely off, so you won't have to worry about any blinking lights out of the corner of your eye when sleeping. Unfortunately, its actual air purification performance is pretty poor, and its low clean air delivery rate means that it's really only best suited for use in smaller rooms.
There are two variants of this device, though they differ only in color. The TP01 is available in either White/Silver or Black/Nickel colorways. We tested the White/Silver version, and you can see its label here.

This combination fan/air purifier is far from the best option on the market. While the TP01 runs quietly and doubles as a fan, there are much cheaper ways of keeping your home free of airborne pollutants; consider something like the Winix C545 if you want a basic air purifier that runs quietly and performs well.
The minimalist display at the center of this machine shows the current fan speed setting. If you set a 'Sleep Timer' using the included remote control, the display will shut off after 10 seconds of inactivity.
This air purifier has a two-stage filter system comprised of a '360 Glass' HEPA filter for dealing with most airborne particles, along with a separate layer to minimize odors. Unusually, no description is provided regarding the composition of this filter.
The Dyson's display will display an 'F' with three horizontal lines when it's time to replace the filter, which will last a year if you use the machine for 12 hours daily. You can buy a replacement filter here.
